The end of all feelings

Holly muffin, its been almost an entire month since iv'e uploaded anything here How did time go by so fast? Haha
anyways, this is a huge part to Paul's  story but beware if anyone is reading this, it's a bit darker than some of the other things that have been posted so far.

Along with concepts, this is also lots more practice with adding textures to backgrounds. Sand is 100% death to get right sometimes *hisses like a kitty*

So Paul is from Port Casinova   the large city engulfed by its deteriorating enchantment which has thrown it into an eternal stormy night. Growing up in a dysfunctional family him and his mother where at the mercy of their narcissistic father who would regularly take out all of his own perceived failures and hatred on them. To escape his pain Paul turned to narcotics and eventually overdoses to get away from it all, killing himself in the process. 

Osmium on the other hand seeks out those who have been abused by the world like himself    and takes them (preferably dead or in spirit form) to the Reflection world, a safe haven in a way where they get a second chance to enjoy a life without abuse. Paul got assigned the job of going back into the real world to collect those to be brought back

On a lighter note Ryder  (the weird computer robot) was created in Port Casinova too By a guy named Adamile. He's about 10 years old at this time.

OH! and a proportion of Casinova is actually sunken into the surrounding sea too, becoming a home for all the creatures that live hidden from the sweeping storms.

Anyyyyhows this was a great learning experience to work on, but still feel like i need to do better and find ways to fix all the little faults that still plague art. Haha or stop being so darn critical all the time Easier said than done 8D
