Redwood falls

So, more environmental study and playing around with leading lines and different character placement. Know they really should be in the middle layer, but art rules are there to be broken XD

So, moving along to the landscape concept, and more into the vast world where Cartoonatics is set.

this place is known as Redwood falls, located on the island of Palu (the place where Fabian is from). Once a thriving jungle in its day it has since fallen victim to one of the many volcanic eruptions that sweep the landscape, wiping out everything that has not evolved to withstand the searing heat. Though as ancient as this disaster may have been, the enchantment that conceals this place forbids the spirits of those who have fallen from ever leaving.  Trapped in a eternal afterlife, they roam the forest floor in search for friends to play with, on their quest to one day find the light that will take them away from this world. 

Oh, and those creatures high above the clouds are Dragons, Palu is home to a great diversity of Dragons that live around active volcanoes, with the Guinea dogs  


this took so long to get working together, mainly because the reds where super vibrant in the early stages, which was quite difficult to work the shading into Still happy with this overall though it was a great challenge!
